Trump’s Daughter Turns Down the View

Groshan Fabiola asked:

We recently reported that ABC was considering a *** co-host on the all-female talk show, The View. Among the names that have been thrown around are Mario Cantone of *** and the City and Ross Matthews from The Tonight Show with Jay Leno. In related developments, there are now reports that the latest addition to the list of celebrities being considered is Ivanka Trump, Donald Trump’s daughter.

The possibility of having Trump on the show is an interesting, if not ironic, twist in light of the recent much-publicized feud between her father and former View co-host, Rosie O’Donnell. However, Ivanka Trump quickly dismissed the notion, flat-out saying “There’s zero chance I would do that.”

“I’m working on the sexiest projects around the world, so, to me, to be on a television show every single day… just wouldn’t work in terms of my schedule,” the heiress continued in her conversation with Ryan Seacrest on his Los Angeles radio show last Tuesday.

In a different interview, Trump told Entertainment Tonight “I have no interest in being on ‘The View. At the end of the day, I’m not a television personality and I’m not willing to give up that amount of time towards a daily show.”

Ivanka Trump does, indeed, have a whole lot on her plate, with more than 70 projects in development, including the new season of her father’s reality job opportunity show, The Apprentice. The statuesque 25-year old is also vice president of Real Estate Development and Acquisitions at the Trump Organization.

Although she has turned down the chance to be a regular on The View, Ivanka Trump has not completely rejected the possibility of appearing on the show due to the Donald-Rosie debacle. “I’ve been on The View several times before Rosie was there and I think I’d be happy to go on it again now that she’s not,” she said.

The Apprentice: Trump’s Olympic Bias

Wednesday, September 19th, 2007

Groshan Fabiola asked:

Host of the popular reality series, The Apprentice, business mogul Donald Trump finds himself in the hot seat again. No, it’s not about his ongoing feud with actress and The View host Rosie O’ Donnell, nor is it about former Miss USA Tara Conner and her journey as a recovering alcoholic and drug addict. This time it’s about Olympic athlete Angela Ruggiero, one of the contestants on the current season of The Apprentice.

The usually strong and determined Trump has apparently gone soft in terms of firing undeserving individuals on the show, and the most damning evidence surfaced in an exclusive BuddyTV interview with Aimee Trotter, a territory manager from Chicago Illinois and the 6th person to be fired from the show. According to Trotter, who served as the team Kinetics leader during the Mall challenge, told Trump that she would be bringing Angela and Jenn Hoffman to the boardroom, where all the axing takes place. However, even after she explained why she was taking Angela with her, Trump subtly told her that he was not about to fire an Olympic gold medalist on national television. Of course, this exchange was apparently edited out of the episode.

It seems that not only is Trump attracted by millions upon millions of green currency, he is also quite the fan of shiny medals, particularly the gold kind. Ruggiero, a native of Los Angeles, participated in the 1998, 2002 and 2006 Olympics, where she and the rest U.S. Olympic Hockey Team earned a gold medal, a silver medal and a bronze medal respectively. His fascination with Ruggiero first became apparent when, on the sixth season premiere episode, he embraced her but gave everyone else a handshake during the introductions. As the show progressed, Trump also frequently expressed his opinion about Ruggiero’s accomplishments at the Olympics and was generous with his praises.

Trump Tower Validates Emerging Mexico Market

Monday, September 10th, 2007

Groshan Fabiola asked:

Mexico’s geographic location, natural beauty and low real estate prices are contributing to its growing status as one of the premier real estate hubs.

There are currently over one million Americans living in Mexico, most of whom are retirees, with about 20 percent of them residing in the concentrated area of Baja California. The LIMRA study conducted by the U.S. Census Bureau also estimated that 8,000 citizens turn 60 years old (baby boomers) every day, seizing a combined total of over $11 trillion in retirement savings. According to www.bestretirementspots.com, Mexico is recognized as one of the most popular retirement destinations in the world.

To further illustrate the growing popularity of the Mexico market, Donald Trump recently announced plans to build an ocean resort which will promote development and marketability in the area.

Columnist, Nellie Day posted the October 5, 2006 article, “Trump Ventures Into Mexico” on globest.com, which explains how Trump’s realization of the Mexico market may lead more developers and investors south of the border.

“Trump Ocean Resort Baja Mexico, a 526-suite luxury condominium-hotel resort, will be rising south of the border over the next few years, according to information released by Donald Trump. The resort is located just south of San Diego and will be the first property along the peninsula to combine luxury resort amenities and services with real estate ownership.”

Financial services companies, such as San Diego-based Lyons Enterprises Incorporated (LEI), have been growing more interested in the Mexico market as the U.S. has been feeling a cold front in their housing sector since the beginning of 2006.

In fact, LEI has developed the branch LEI Mexico, with a specific focus on Mexico real estate and financing.

The Mexico market is growing with a prospective boom expected in the next couple of years. Major developers, such as Trump are taking advantage of the open land and freshness of the area while they can.

“‘Trump Ocean Resort Baja will redefine the standard of premier property ownership and service excellence for all of Northern Mexico,’ says Trump. ‘I’ve always said, ‘location is everything,’ and being just 30 minutes from Downtown San Diego makes this an ideal locale for a premier resort property.’”

Trump, who is the CEO of the Trump Organization, partnered with Irongate, a Los Angeles-based real estate development and investment company to develop the luxury hotel-condominium resort.

Trump Ocean Resort Baja Mexico will cater to owners and guests with a plethora of luxury resort amenities expected from a Trump property, “such as an owner’s concierge, lobby bar and lounge, spa, fitness center, tennis courts, and resort, lap and family pools.”

Trump has also realized the need to keep condominium prices reasonable to help support the Mexico economy. “Prices for studios and one-, two-, and three-bedroom residences start in the mid-$200,000s and will range from 532 square feet to more than 2,200 square feet of indoor and outdoor space.”

Construction for the new resort is schedule to begin by the end of 2006, with the first tower expected to be complete by late 2008. The entire project is expected to be completed by 2011.

Why do people make fun of Donald Trump’s hair? I think it looks good. If that is a “comb over”, he did a good job. He makes the most of what he has.

Is Success a Mischievous Lover, or a Disagreeable Hussy?

Saturday, September 1st, 2007
donald trump
Donald Yates asked:

Time and Humans Experience Change.

Somewhere in time, Humans seem to have lost their way. People have forgotten there true selves. What would be your response if you continually heard your son complaining that he just wasn’t good enough to be successful. That he was hampered in some way and success was for only a chosen few. What would you say to him? “Son, you can make it”, or possibly “I know you have it in you to be successful”. Perhaps you already are in a similar situation.

Is wisdom the answer?

What piece of wisdom would you advise for him or anyone else in the same situation? Could you stand eye to eye with your son or daughter and make a rational argument for his/her future? Perhaps you could. Perhaps he would even take your advise to heart. Unfortunately in all too many cases a parent is left with unanswered questions him/herself.

Our first response is education. Get a good education and everything will naturally be all right. Even though education is important it is only a small part of the success formula.

There other factors

I believe our Lord and Father, wants the same for us. He says he provides yet we don’t understand or trust the offering. We turn away from the obvious and look toward defeat and desperation. People are so filled with mistrust they won’t accept because they fear there are terms. The saying “nothing is free in life” has people afraid to thrive.

Success is good for the Soul

Look what success does for people especially Christian. It teaches them to plan and make something worthwhile out of their lives. It teaches him stewardship, how to handle his bounty no matter what it is. It teaches adversity; in every success story there is some adversity. It teaches people how to be humble in the face of challenge. It teaches relationships; as family and cohorts become a motivating factor in their endeavor. And most of all, it gives a higher reverence and appreciation for Jesus Christ and our creator God, because without them, it would not be possible.

Even hardened non-believers realize and use Gods laws for success. A hidden, deep down truth is, most people are believers at heart, they are just lazy; they don’t get involved in Church because of non-belief it’s because of distraction, laziness and indifference. They just don’t get it and over the years have built up a callousness of life. It’s like computers, some people get it and some don’t but all are exposed to them.

The Inner self must be happy

Over the years it has become evident that the inner person is the key to success. The satisfying of spirit is the ultimate goal in any success challenge. Materially, it doesn’t make any difference, it’s only superficial. When that deep down hunger is satisfied, that’s when you know success has been accomplished.

The law is the law

Here are six of twelve laws that if followed will make you a more successful person.

1. The Law of Relationships – Imminence

Relationships is the number one law of God. He wants us to experience life to its’ fullest and our relationships play a great part in that order. When we experience good relationships with those around us we naturally are happier and consequently more prospers.

2. The Law of Attentiveness

We must be aware of our surroundings as well as our relationships. Being aware is spending the time necessary to attend to situations as they arise. Attentiveness broadens the scoop of attention to include the details of all conditions. Pay attention to details, is important to assure you experience all aspects of a challenge.

3. The Law of Information – knowing

We live in an information age and those who don’t keep up will be left behind. Information is power and power, when correctly applied, leads to success. You must know the rules of the game before you can play it. Stay informed, and productive.

4. The Law of Human Magnetism – Attraction

Magnetism is one of those obscure laws people seem to overlook. Through your demeanor, you can draw people and success to you. Your character is your brand and your brand is what is recognized by other people. In product marketing, good branding is essential to the product’s success. It’s the same with people. They must be accepted by their peers in order to tread the path of success.

5. The Law of Desire – Passion

Aha, passion the love of the game, the attraction of the mind. You must have a passion for what you are doing. Donald Trump says, “Passion is essential in the quest for success.” You must love your chosen field of endeavor, or else compliancy will set in and destroy your efforts.

6. The Law of Fortitude – Longevity

Most all successful people endured good and bad times before they became successful. Success does not happen overnight, it is a process. Success is a progressive act that occurs over a time span of days, months and years. There is no quick fix. If you are impatient, get a job, don’t chase success because you will give up before you catch it.

The fact is this, everyone is equal in the beginning. Some are born into and are exposed to success principles early in life. Some people are exposed to defeatism and become oppressed in their thinking. All are capable in the end. Success is a frame of mind an elusive lover that will leave you for another if not well attended. You must court success, being diligent and responsive to her demands.

She stands proud and self assured, waiting for a suitable suitor. She can be fickle and stubborn in her relationships, casting away even the most determined of suitors. A person who courts success must be determined and aggressive in his/her quest. He/she must not fall pray to false assurances and kisses of promises.

In the next chapter, we will discuses:

• The Law of Negotiation

• The Law of obedience

• The Law of perception

• The law of Direction

• The Law of Planning

• The Law of preparedness

• The Law of increase

Happy Trails
